There's Treasure Everywhere

Indiana, Days 1 and 2

We have been looking forward all summer to our trip to Indiana to visit my sister and brother and their families. Actually, the kids have been looking forward to our trip since last summer when we first decided to make it a family vacation. You've never heard kids so excited to tell people that we were going to Indiana! Well, the day finally arrived and we off we flew!

We didn't get to Indiana until after the Gallo kids were in bed, so we saw them first thing the next morning. It was nice just spending our first day there hanging around and relaxing. One of Joey's main goals for the week, was to win Luke (a known fuss-pot) over. That was accomplished very quickly!

Meanwhile, Luke loved Andy right away. Maybe the Fruit Loops helped.

Aunt Rachel stocked her sun room with all sorts of crafts for the girls to do.

That afternoon after nap time, we ventured out to an amazing park nearby. The kids thought it was the best park ever!

It also had a great splash area!

When we got home, the kids ran around outside while we got dinner ready.

The weather was nice and mild while we were there, so being outside was delightful!

Croquet!

Towards the end of dinner, some high-schoolers knocked on the door. They were playing some game for youth group, so we all got up from the table to see what they wanted. When we came back, we found that Luke had climbed out of his high chair and was happily munching on the french fries. What a stinker!
