There's Treasure Everywhere
We're back safe and sound! We had a great time, and both kids did really well on our trip.

This was Joey's first plane trip where he was actually aware of what was going on. The flight attendants on our first plane were super sweet and a little baby/kid crazy. They made a huge fuss over Joey and Hannah and even let Joey go up to the cockpit and meet the pilot. Joey was a little nervous, but I think he thought it was pretty neat.

When the flight attendant first came over to us, Joey asked if she was the pilot. She told him that she helps the pilot and that the pilot's name was Captain Tom. Joey asked her if she knew Captain Hook.

Our flight was super smooth except for a brief bit of turbulence. During the bumps, Joey turned to Andy and said, "He (the pilot) is a crazy driver!"

I'll have more pictures and stories to share soon.
Early tomorrow morning Andy, Joey, Hannah, and I are flying with my parents, brothers, aunt, uncle and cousin (yes, all on the same plane!) to Atlanta for a family reunion in the Smoky Mountains. We'll be back in a week!
This post is LONG overdue, but a little shout out to my sweet friend Erika for updating our family's A.L.F shirts. As three of the proud members of the Andy Lanzone Fan Club, we were pumped to get new shirts for Joey and Hannah (member numbers 2 and 3 respectively).
Hannah is three months old today. I was randomly looking back at old pictures on the blog and found this one when Joey was exactly three months old. When Hannah was first born, I thought they looked really similar. Now they look so different to me!

We were leaving my parent's house and my mom joked that she was going to keep Hannah. Joey got visibly upset, almost to the point of tears and said, "No, you can't keep her. She's my friend!"

We were in Target and Hannah was on my chest in the Bjorn. A sweet elderly gentleman saw Joey trying to reach the water fountain and asked if he could help. I gratefully said yes and the man gave Joey a boost. Afterward, Joey ran over to me and said excitedly, " He helped me. He didn't bite me."

Completely out of the blue...

Joey: I can't wait to go to heaven!

When Joey was a newborn, I remember sitting in front of my computer and crying as I desperately searched the internet for information on getting babies to sleep. It seemed like every time he reached a new stage in his development, we had to work on getting him to sleep well again. Even now, he can get out of whack really easily and fights sleep like nothing else.

A sweet friend of mine from Albuquerque, Haley, knew my struggles because she had similar issues with her daughter. She called our kids "high maintenance sleepers." I found out that before Hannah was born, Haley was specifically praying that we would have a good sleeper this time around.

Well, Haley, your prayers were answered. Hannah is a ROCK STAR sleeper! I thought she was a pretty good sleeper right away, but I was afraid to get my hopes up. Well, she is twelve weeks old now, and she is sleeping so well! I am so thankful. She usually sleeps from 8:30 pm to 6:00 am. Then she wakes up to nurse and sleeps again until 8:30 or even 9:30. She pretty much just takes one long power nap at 12:30 which is perfect because it means she sleeps right through Joey's nap. The earliest she wakes up is at 3:30, but she's slept all the way to 5:15 before. The other fantastic thing, is that I can put her down to sleep with her eyes wide open, and she quietly falls asleep on her own.

Don't tell Andy, but at this point I'm ready to have twelve more babies!
