There's Treasure Everywhere
Monday morning we woke up early to go to the zoo! Maybe it was a little too early for the Benjamins. ;-) Okay, don't be fooled, little Ben was up and raring to go!

Coming from the someone who has a membership to the "world-famous zoo," I was VERY impressed with the Fort Wayne zoo! They had so many cool animals. This peacock greeted us in all its splendor.

This was the area where you could watch the sting rays swim by and pet them.
Sunday morning we went to Michael and Rachel's church. Michael snapped a picture of the four of us.

Timmy's post lunch nap. That guy can sleep anywhere anytime!

Later that afternoon the four of us went to a nearby winery and vineyard. We had a great time at the wine tasting. The lady there was really fun and friendly. When she found out we were siblings she wanted to guess our birth order, and she nailed it! Then she got pretty close on our ages. We tried to get her guess our weights next, but she passed! ;-)

I've been very delinquent in posting about this, but a couple of weeks ago my youngest brother Timmy and I flew from LA to Chicago to visit our brother and sister who both happen to live in Indiana.

After an Uber ride to the airport, a flight to Chicago and a bus ride to Indiana, we finally made it!

Benjamin and Christina picked us up at the bus stop and took us out to dinner in downtown Valparaiso where they live. The food was great and we had the friendliest waitress of all time. It was a lovely way to end a long day of traveling.

A couple of days after Joey and I went to Legoland for his band concert, a friend texted me and asked if I wanted four free tickets to Legoland. Why yes, yes I did! The only catch was that the tickets were expiring in about a week so there was only one weekend left that we could use them. We were busy all weekend, so I decided to let the kids skip school on Monday. I usually drive the carpool Monday mornings so I secretly arranged for those kids to get other rides. So this is what happened Monday morning:

Me: Hey guys, it's time to leave for school and no one is here yet.
Hannah: That's really weird.
Me: And I haven't even made your lunches yet!
Joey and Hannah look panicked.
Me: Maybe we should just go to Legoland for the day instead of going to school.
Hannah: (looking incredulous) Can we really do that?
Me: Well, I do have four free tickets to Legoland right here in my pocket.
Joey: What?!?! Are we really going to do that?
Me: Yep.
General freaking out, jumping up and down and shouting "Mom is super! Mom is super!"
