Now that the quarantine is slowly lifting and our summer officially started last week, this will probably be my last post titled "Coronavirus Quarantine." However, like everyone else in the world, I have no idea how long it will be until our lives get completely back to normal. 

I sent Hannah to wake Andy up for church, and this is how I found them when I went up to take a shower. She's fired! We've been able to go to church in person since May 31st, and it's been great.

Andy was excited because his company was having an online game of Bingo! He ended up winning the first Bingo!

I never feel more like an adult than when we spend a Saturday morning washing all of our windows inside and out. 

It's nice having the kids help out!

While we're still pretty strict on screen time around here even during quarantine, we have let Joey play more online video games because it's such a great way for him to hang out with his friends. One of his friends had an online video game birthday party where they could play and talk.

Speaking of birthdays, our neighbor had a birthday and he and his wife decided to host a social distancing, Bingo block party. 

It was so, so fun! 

Pretzel Wednesdays have continued every week. Hannah and I decided we're going to keep at it until the kids go back to school.

Ellie got a $5 gift card to FroYo Love from her teacher so we walked down and enjoyed a fun treat.

Joey hadn't seen any of his friends in person since March 13th, so he was pretty pumped when his friend had a birthday get together on June 1st. The boys just scootered and skate boarded out on the street for an hour, but it was so good for them to be together again!

Our kids were all invited over to our neighbor's house for a movie night including an epic candy/goodie bar. The girls watched Beauty and the Beast so we told Joey that he and little Luke (age 5) could come over to our house to watch a movie or play video games together. 

While the kids were having a blast at home, Andy and I snuck out for a little date night. We went to a nearby Mexican restaurant that Andy had never been to before. It might be our new favorite restaurant. I ordered a margarita, and Andy encouraged me to get a large one since it wasn't that much more expensive. Then this huge fish bowl came out! Ha! Good thing Andy had just ordered water.

This was me pretending that it was all for me! 

For Joey's travel basketball team, he's had Zoom workouts for the last several weeks. It's been nice having him practice 1-2 times a week that way. The workouts are pretty hard so I can't say that Joey loves them.

While Ellie's teacher gave her a FroYo Love gift card, she gave me a Starbucks gift card for helping in the classroom all year. I treated us all to nice cold drinks on a hot day.

I just love this pretty walk, and it's even more fun when we get a yummy treat!

For Memorial Day every year we normally have a big church picnic, but obviously like everything else during quarantine, that got cancelled.

Instead, we met up with our friends the Spears in Laguna Beach. It's the perfect halfway spot between San Diego and LA. Kelly and I were both worried about how crazy busy it might be especially since things had just started opening up AND it was a holiday, but it wasn't bad at all. It was definitely less crowded than a normal Memorial Day at the beach. We got there early and got parking really close to the beach. The kids hadn't seen each other since we had gotten together in the summer on our way home from San Luis Obispo so they were a little shy around each other first, but they warmed up pretty quickly.
