Christmas

We are still in vacation mode around here, but I wanted to post our Christmas pictures before the New Year arrives.

Part of our Christmas excitement this year was due to the fact that Uncle Timmy and Aunt Sarah were flying out from Philadelphia to be with us for the holidays. It's been almost two years since the kids and I have seen them, so we were counting down the days until their arrival.

Timmy and Sarah got to meet Ellie for the first time. The love was immediate and mutual.

Timmy and Sarah brought their dog, Fellini with them to meet Octavian. The love was not as immediate, but definitely mutual.

Christmas Eve day was spent making cookies for Santa (and the rest of us).

On Christmas Eve we went to church and then came home and had a feast of hors d'oeuvres. These crab cakes were amazing!

And then came Christmas morning:
