A friend of mine from church has yearly passes to Legoland and had two guest passes that she kindly offered to let us use. Another friend from church also joined us with her two kids. Joey was so pumped to go and it was even more fun to go with some of his friends. Since my parents live so close to Legoland, I decided to drop Hannah off there in the morning so that she could take her morning nap. It was nice having some time alone with Joey.

One of our first stops was at the Build and Test area. They give the kids two sets of wheels and access to tons of Legos. The kids can build any kind of car, and then race it down a ramp.
After that, we headed to the Adventure Land area. Here are all four of the kids having fun with swords.
When Joey first found out that we were going to Legoland, he immediately asked if he could go on the train and ride in the front. The train was his favorite part of Legoland on our first trip. Not only did he get to ride in the front, he was the only one on the train. Bonus!
Joey has a slight obsession with all things Star Wars. Ever since Halloween, he's been asking if he can be Darth Vader for Christmas. You can imagine how pumped he was to see this.

Oh yeah, he loves Batman too.

Around lunch time, Joey and I went back to pick up Hannah. I figured we would just go home, but my friend encouraged us to get our hands stamped and come back. I'm so glad we decided to do that. When we came back, we found the car area. Joey LOVED driving these cars. Joey went on them over and over and over again.
Andy works really close to Legoland so he came over for the last hour (when you can get in for free). Joey had a blast riding his three favorite rides with Andy. There were so few people there that they never had to wait in line. They actually never even had to get off a ride until they were ready for a new ride. The best quote of the day from Joey was when he was riding the airplane ride. "I scream because I love it."

That is what Joey said when he saw his new haircut.

I'm still not sure what these two were laughing about, but apparently it was hilarious!

I've mentioned before how much I love hand-me-downs. Joey wore a bunch of clothes from my brothers, which I thought was really neat. Now that I have a girl, Hannah has worn clothes from my sister and me. The really cool thing is that she actually has some outfits that my mom wore as a baby. This outfit is one of them. It's in such good shape, and I think it's just adorable.

We had a very busy and fun Halloween weekend. Friday afternoon we went to Andy's office and trick or treated there. Everyone had little bags of candy at their desks to hand out to the kids. Peter Pan was pumped about getting all that candy. Tinker Bell was just happy to have Daddy holding her.

That night we went to a nearby church where I have my Tuesday morning Bible study. They had this huge Harvest carnival. It was amazingly well done. This will definitely become a yearly tradition. One of my favorite parts is that Joey got to play all these fun games, but didn't get that much candy. That's probably not why Joey liked it so much.
Saturday night we trick-or-treated around our neighborhood. Here's the whole crew: Captain Hook, Wendy, Tinker Bell, and Peter Pan.

Our post trick-or-treating treat: Halloween Spiderweb Apples. Man, they were good! Joey looks like he's about to crash.Hannah, on the other hand, got her second wind once we got back home. She was happy as a clam showing off her cuteness.
We actually still have one more Halloween party next week. We're basically looking for any excuse to let Joey wear his Peter Pan costume.
