Last February Andy's brother, sister-in-law and nephew came out to visit, and they decided to make a repeat trip this year. They started their trip in Manhattan Beach for a few days and then headed our way.
Of course they had to stop by Andy's work for lunch and a tour. Timmy and Hank visited last year, but Sarah had never been.
That night for dinner we had taco night at our house. This was the kids' table.
The next day we took them down to our new favorite place, Coronado.

It wasn't nearly as warm as last time, but it was still a beautiful day, and the rain stayed away!
We started at the Hotel Del this time,
and then drove over to the playground by the bridge for lunch.
We brought all of our baseball gear so that we could play a little baseball after lunch.
The next day, Timmy, Sarah, Hank and Andy's parents took the train to the coast. I picked up Ellie from school, and took the older two kids out early so that we could go meet the Lanzones at the pier for lunch.
The next day I subbed, so Andy's mom, Sarah and Hank picked Ellie up from school and went to a park nearby.
Ellie took advantage of the opportunity to snuggle up with her uncle and aunt.
After the older kids and I got home from school, we headed over to Grandma and Papa J's house to join the fun.
Hank and Ellie helped Grandma get the happy hour snacks ready.
Andy, Joey and Hannah had basketball practice that evening, so these two tagged along for a while and then came home and watched part of a movie together. It was a great week getting to hang out with some of our favorite people.

Great pictures with the hotel in the background and the Coronado Bridge. Really shows where you are!
The best pictures are from Sarah, of course! She's got such a good eye for photography!
The sky is BEAUTIFUL! Love that pic of the 3 kids running- a total framer :)
