I have no idea if I'll continue blogging about our quarantine week by week. I guess it depends on how long it lasts. At some point, it's all going to be a loop of the same activities. For now though, while it's still a fairly new experience, I'll keep it up.

 We decided to have family movie nights Friday, Saturday and Sundays during quarantine. This past weekend we did the "Back to the Future" trilogy. The kids had seen the first movie at my parents' house one time, but they had never seen the sequels. It was so fun watching all the movies three nights in a row.

Our second week of quarantine started with two days in a row of family outings, which was lovely. On Saturday we played basketball...

I remember hearing something about the Coronavirus for the first time around the middle or end of February. It went from "something happening in China" to people panic buying, to all of a sudden, schools were closed down for a month! It was so fast, and everything kept changing daily. It's all been very surreal. 

Hannah turned 11 on March 8! With most kids as they get older the thought usually is, "I can't believe they are ___ years old already." Hannah has always been something of an old soul. It's kind of weird that she's not turning 16 by now, but we'll take 11!

Hannah got an apple fritter doughnut for her birthday. It was bigger than her head, so she split it with me. Yum!

At the end of February Timmy, Sarah, Hank and Jane came out to California for a visit. Andy had met Jane in October when he went out for his grandpa's 90th birthday, but the rest of us were thrilled to finally meet her. She's a doll. The kids had school, but Andy and I went with his parents up to the San Clemente pier to meet them as they drove down from LA. We had lunch at a great little seafood restaurant right on the pier.

This camera dump actually starts right after Christmas. Cameron's friend Haven started school at Double Peak this year and is in Ellie's class. Now when Haven comes over to play, they are quite the trio.

Our basketball season just ended. Andy coached Joey and Hannah's teams, which were both the Sixers. Ellie was on the Clippers. Funny that they all happened to be red 3's.
