Here are some random pictures of our wonderful, wonderful summer...

Joey's friend Colton's birthday is in October, but he wanted to wait for their new pool to be done so he could have a pool party. The pool was WAY delayed, but it made a nice start to the summer!

And just like that, our summer is over. Now we have a second grader, fifth grader and seventh grader!

Last week Andy went on a white water rafting trip with his Google team. They took a bus up to the Kern River Tuesday afternoon and spent the night at a motel/lodge type place.

Every summer, the kids and I have certain things that we want to make sure we do. This is the first time we actually wrote all of the things down on an official bucket list...

1. Visit Ramirez kittens.

My friend Ashley has a cat that had six kittens this summer. The kids and I went to see them after their eyes had opened. They were so sweet!

We actually went back a week later with my mom while Joey was at camp. That time my mom took a group photo. You can see Ashley's baby (the youngest of five) in the background which makes me laugh.

Every year during Camp Nana I pick some house project(s) to do while the kids are gone.

One of our summer traditions ever since 2013 is Camp Nana. My mom had shoulder surgery earlier this year, so I didn't know if she would be up for having the kids this summer, but she's a rock star and Camp Nana was a go! 

This past week we took a short road trip to San Louis Obispo. We drove up late Wednesday night and Thursday morning after breakfast we explored downtown. We found Bubblegum Alley first. Hannah said the name reminded her of Diagon Alley from Harry Potter. It was fun to see, but not quite as cool as Diagon Alley.
