We recently found out about a really cool hiking area practically in our backyard called the Elfin Forest Recreational Reserve, so we headed out for a short hike on Saturday. Joey was pumped when he found out we were going hiking. He kept asking, "Are we going to the wild?"
Hannah was less than enthused about the experience at first because we put her in this Ergo carrier that I borrowed from my friend. She actually screamed when we first put her in it. What can I say? She's a little feisty.
She was doing better here, but she was just not a fan of being on Daddy's back.
So I got her. And boy, was she snuggly. We both loved this position! The Ergo carrier puts all the weight on your hips as opposed to your back and shoulders, so it was very comfortable.
While we were hiking, Joey decided that we were all video game characters. Joey was Mario, Andy was Luigi, I was Princess Peach, and Hannah was Toad.
