There's Treasure Everywhere
We've had such a fun, rainy week. Yesterday, while Hannah was napping, Joey and I went out on a rain walk. We both had so much fun until the wind picked up and Joey's umbrella tried to make a break for it. Joey was a little unnerved having to wrestle with his umbrella.

Unfortunately, the streets in our little community are made too well to have many fun puddles. Joey contented himself with running next to the curb.
He was pretty good at getting his pants completely soaked which means it was a successful rainy day.
Joey's latest obsession. He hasn't let it interfere with his previous obsession of going pant-less.
Yay! I'm finally posting about New Years. We went to Phoenix to hang out with Andy's parents, brother, sister-in-law, and good friends. What a fun week we had!

My in-laws just recently moved into a house on a golf course. It was so fun sitting on their back porch reading, chatting, and watching the golfers. Joey didn't care so much about the view though and just wanted to build a tent with Grandma.
Joey found Uncle Timmy's complete collection of Berenstain Bear books and had so much fun looking through them all. He even suckered Uncle Timmy into reading a few to him.

My sister-in-law, Sarah, and I took Joey to a little park by my in-law's house. It ended up having a pretty cool little splash park. We weren't prepared for a splash park in January, but the weather was gorgeous so Joey just ran around in his underwear. Sarah and I managed to refrain from joining in the fun.
One of our annual traditions when we all get together for the holidays is to have a murder mystery party. This time it was a Trailer Trash Murder Mystery complete with meatloaf, Kraft mac. and cheese, and beer.
This is my sister-in-law a.k.a. "trashy twin sister." We had some sibling rivalry issues.
Poor Hannah was a little distraught over my costume and wouldn't even let me hold her at first. She finally warmed up to me, but as Sarah pointed out, Joey is still in the background silently judging me.
It was so great having an opportunity to hang out with some of our favorite people in the world, and this time Andy didn't have the Swine Flu. Bonus!

So I'm really slacking on my catch-up posts. Let's see if I can get out of my blogging funk.

My sweet girl on her first Christmas. Her daddy is pretty cute too!

I'm finally getting around to posting some of our Christmas photos. You're welcome. ;-)

About a week before Christmas we went to a house in a nearby neighborhood that was DECKED OUT complete with a Santa giving out gifts. This was Joey's first experience with Santa, and he loved it.

Seriously, this is someone's front yard. And this photo probably only captures a fraction of it all. It was amazing.
I'm sure this will become a yearly tradition!
