Halloween 2025

 

For this Halloween, Ellie ended up having three different costumes. She went to the Halloween Carnival at Emmanuel Faith Church with a bunch of friends. She and Gianna decided to be "Founding Fathers." They raided their dad's closets and bought wigs on Amazon. They were a big hit!

Ellie's middle school also let the kids dress up for Halloween. Ellie's friends were all deer, and she went through Joey's closet and pulled off this hunter outfit.

Then it was finally time for the actual Halloween. The girls planned out a "Strawberry Shortcake" theme with a couple of their friends. Ellie was Strawberry Shortcake, and Hannah was Lemon Meringue.

We went back to our old neighborhood to trick-or-treat. We had the best time seeing all of our old friends.

I literally only see these ladies once a year during trick-or-treating, but we get so excited to see each other. It's like an annual reunion. This year was even more fun because they knew we moved and didn't expect to see us.

Eventually we got all of the Shortcake girls together: Orange Blossom, Lemon Meringue, Strawberry Shortcake and Blueberry Muffin,

Halloween is always one of my favorite nights of the year!
