More Soccer

I posted about Ellie's soccer season, but Joey and Hannah also had great seasons. Hannah's team, the Super Smurfs, were in first place all season. The only two games they lost were the two games Hannah wasn't at, so officially Hannah had an undefeated season! ;-) Unfortunately the girls' first playoff game was not until 7:30 at night, and the girls just weren't themselves. They lost and were pretty heartbroken about it.

They rallied for their end of the season party, and had a fun team celebrating their first place (but not champion) season.

At Joey's age level, there are only two teams. Most of the season, we travel to other cities in the area to play their rec teams. The league still had a "championship game" between the two teams at the end, and Joey's team won.

So, they got championship medals too!

Joey had to leave right after he got his medal to get to a basketball game, but here was the team picture without him. Joey had a bunch of friends on the team, so he had a blast all season.
