Andy Turned 40!

Andy turned 40 on May 7th!  I'm so sad that this is the only picture we got from his birthday, but I still wanted to blog about his big day. We started off the morning with birthday donuts, I made him one of his favorite sandwiches for lunch, and we ended the day with a Taco Bell feast. He also ended up taking the day off of work to play video games so it was basically his dream day!


Andy made me promise that I wouldn't invite a bunch of people over for his birthday, but I did sneak in one family, the Sheriffs. The Saturday after his birthday, we surprised Andy by taking him bowling at Urge and the Sheriffs met us there to add to the surprise. After bowling, we all came back to our house for Andy's favorite meal, carne asada burritos. It was a fun evening!

I wanted to get him a bigger present that usual for his 40th birthday so I bought tickets for our whole family to go on a Roar & Snore Safari where you spend the night at the Safari Park. Our trip is scheduled in early June, so I'll blog about that in a couple of weeks!
