There's Treasure Everywhere
Five years ago one of my dear friends, Lindsey, moved to Seattle. She's been back to San Diego several times to visit, so my other friend Sarah and I thought it was about time we visited her. I was especially excited because I had never been to Seattle before.
When we were looking for a good time to go, the best weekend for all three of us was when Andy was going to be away for March Madness. Thankfully my parents and Andy's parents were both around to help. My parents took the girls and Joey spent the weekend with Andy's parents for a mini March Madness. Needless to say, everyone had a blast.
The first day we got there, we insisted on hanging out on Lindsey's lovely patio. It was so cozy with our blankets, fireplace and twinkle lights.

The next day we ventured out to Snoqualmie Falls.
We took a little hike through some woods to see the view from the bottom of the waterfall. It was all beautiful!
We got some delicious doughnuts that were made right in front of us.
Rachel, the pig, is the mascot of the market.
Of course we had to check out all the fish.
Next up, we walked over to the Space Needle. Apparently they just finished putting in a new glass floor, which was really cool.
After lunch, Lindsey treated us to a Ride the Ducks tour. We got to tour Seattle by land and water on a WWII amphibious landing craft. Very cool!
Our favorite part was touring Puget Sound and seeing the house boats and floating houses. We even saw the one from Sleepless in Seattle (the tan and green one on the left).
Tuesday was our last day, and we went back to downtown Seattle to tour the underground tunnels. That was fascinating to hear about Seattle's history! After the tour and a quick lunch, Lindsey dropped us off at the airport.
Sarah and I had such a wonderful trip!
