Soccer

Our 2018 soccer season just came to an end.

Ellie was on the Pandas this year, and she really seemed to enjoy her season. Historically she hasn't been as excited about sports as her siblings, but maybe she's just a late bloomer because she really seems to love playing now. She definitely has a competitive streak.

One of the games she played was against her best friend Cameron. Cameron's mom got this great shot of the two of them going after the ball.

Still friends! ;-)

Soccer continues to be Hannah's favorite sport so she was really looking forward to the season. After the first game, I told Hannah to buckle up and get ready to lose a lot this season because only Hannah and another girl seemed to know how to play. I was never happier to be wrong. This team grew SO much this season.

In the end, they made it to the championship game and got the second place medal! It was such a fun season with a nice group of girls and parents.

Joey played soccer this season as well, we just don't have any photographic evidence. Picture a cute, skinny kid in a green soccer uniform. His team had a rough season and lost quite a few games, but he really enjoyed the boys on his team so practices were always a lot of fun. He also had one of the best games of his career and scored two goals in the first game. Now it's on to basketball...

Laughed out loud at your pep talk to Hannah. Guess you're not a soccer scout, Megan. :)

Ha! In my defense, her team played horribly that first game. It looked like it was 7 girls vs. 2!
