Summer Party

Friday was the Google Summer party. This year it was a country hoedown theme. It ended up being a lot like the Google carnival two years ago, which was great news to all of us.

Ellie was super excited about the pony rides. Best news about Google parties...short lines. She went on the ponies over and over and ended up riding all four ponies.

A highlight of any Google get-together for Ellie is her sweet little friend Aurora.

The big kids enjoyed the zip line again.

I got in on the zip line action too.

The Ferris Wheel was another repeat from two years ago.

I love watching these two together. They are so funny.

The rock climbing wall was new this year. Joey was the only one who tried it out.

Ellie was much more interested in the airbrushed tattoos. They are right about tattoos...they are addicting. I think she ended up with five!

Hannah and I earned a prize for doing the "two-step" (but it was really the polka, which is my favorite dance). Hannah picked it up pretty quickly. It was so fun. As you can see we were cracking up.

As usual, everything was free including all of the food and treats. Our rule for the kids was that they could get whatever they wanted whenever they wanted, but they couldn't get a stomach ache. This worked very well because even if after the 4-5 ice cream treats they each ate their stomachs weren't feeling great, we never heard about it. And all those ice cream treats were delicious!

That looked like incredible fun and not crowded! The zip line looked awesome as well as Hannah and you dancing.
