Joey's Pre-Party

 Joey's birthday is next weekend, but he and Andy are going camping again with Adventure Guides, so we invited the grandparents over for a little pre-birthday celebration on Saturday. It was very low-key, which is just how I like it.

 

As usual, Joey let Hannah open his first present. I love that the two of them thought up this tradition together, and they always let the other person open the first present.

 Of course, Joey had plenty of presents to open on his own!

Joey is not a big cake or cupcake person. The last couple of years he requested whoopie pies, but this year his favorite is an ice cream cookie sandwich with sprinkles all around.

   Time for family pictures. The blue and red theme was purely accidental!
