There's Treasure Everywhere
Well, with good times and bad times, October 2007 will be a month to remember.
Early this morning we got a recorded call from the Sheriff's Department saying that there was a wildfire nearby and a mandatory evacuation of our area. It was a blessing that Andy and I were both home and able to pack up our cars with important things. We are also very fortunate to have my parents so close. We'll be hanging out at their house until we can go back.
Please keep us in your prayers as our house is right next to a big brush area, and the strong winds are really helping the fire to spread. Gosh, it's good to know that whatever happens the Lord is in control!

wow! i didn't realize it was so close to you. praying that your house is safe.
