Joey turned 15 this past Wednesday.
I told him that I love him more now than I did 15 years ago.
That was before he tried to eat his donut with the candle still lit.
After school he had water polo practice. We all picked him up from practice and took him out to dinner at In-n-Out.
When we came home Joey opened his presents.
He thought the funny socks from his Andy's parents were great!
That Saturday Joey had his birthday party with friends.
Very randomly, most of his best friends ended up playing water polo this year as freshmen. Apparently they can't get enough water polo so they played it for the first two hours of the party, although they called this rule-less version, "Murder ball." One couple came in through the gate to the pool, saw all these high school boys wrestling in the water, and immediately left!
While the boys were trying to drown each other, Andy was teaching his girls some water polo skills.
They seemed to like it!
Dinner was Joey's favorite go-to, Dominos pizza.
After dinner, Andy led the kids in a few rounds of Werewolf.
Creamy cookies and ice cream for dessert followed by a night game of Capture the Flag in the neighborhood. It was a great night!
