Back from Vacation

We're back safe and sound! We had a great time, and both kids did really well on our trip.

This was Joey's first plane trip where he was actually aware of what was going on. The flight attendants on our first plane were super sweet and a little baby/kid crazy. They made a huge fuss over Joey and Hannah and even let Joey go up to the cockpit and meet the pilot. Joey was a little nervous, but I think he thought it was pretty neat.


When the flight attendant first came over to us, Joey asked if she was the pilot. She told him that she helps the pilot and that the pilot's name was Captain Tom. Joey asked her if she knew Captain Hook.

Our flight was super smooth except for a brief bit of turbulence. During the bumps, Joey turned to Andy and said, "He (the pilot) is a crazy driver!"
