There's Treasure Everywhere
Joey LOVES animals, and we found a fun, free zoo. It's called Petco!
Andy recently got some fish for an aquarium he's had since high school. We've had to go to Petco a couple of times to pick up supplies. Joey absolutely LOVES it! He gets to see dogs, fish, birds, hamsters, cats, etc. The first time we went he met two giant, but friendly, Dobermans.
Petco also has these mini grocery-style carts. He saw a young girl pushing one, and wanted to try it out. Oh. my. goodness. The boy is in heaven. When he pushes the cart around he giggles the whole time.
So Wednesdays are now zoo days (just minus the zoo).

Hmmm... I've done the fish section at Wal-Mart, but I think Petco would be much better! We just had a new one open up near us. I may have to take my kiddos to the "zoo" soon!
This brings back memories for me! Eli used to love a trip to Petsmart--it was right next to Wal-mart. We'd stop in for the fun of it and see the animals. He especially liked when the animal shelters had adopt-a-pet day. Enjoy these simple special times with your little one :) Kristin
We took Jonathan to the 'zoo' today! He really enjoyed the birds!
Petsmart is our favorite free zoo.
